Saturday Mighty Mite Prep

Our Mighty Mite Prep program offers a 10 week introduction to ski racing. The prep program is available to skiers born in (ages 7-11 as of December 31 which corresponds to age classes U8, U10 and U12) and meets for 10 weeks, starting on the first or second Saturday in January

The Prep Program is designed for skiers who want to try racing while working on their all mountain skiing skills. Prep athletes should expect to spend the majority of their time with coaches in directed free skiing. As the season progresses coaches will add some race training. Athletes interested in the program must be able to ski parallel (no wedge) and be able to independently load Chair 7 (Gold Hills) without assistance. Parents should plan to meet their kids for lunch during the day. This program cost includes the athletes’ race entry fee for the Sallie McNabb Cup race at Crystal Mountain. Prep athletes are invited to participate in CMAC’s Mighty Mite races and any away races for the standard race entry fee. Some away races  may require a U.S. Ski & Snowboard Membership.

The cost for the Mighty Mite Prep program is $1550 if registration is done before October 15 and payment is made at the time of registration. After that date or if not paid at the time of registration, the cost is $100 more.

Prep program athletes can add Mid-Week Training at Snoqualmie Pass (Wednesdays in January through March) for an additional fee of $700.
